Sports First Aid Training for Boxing, Karate, Football, Rugby and Cricket Clubs

At SEF First Aid Assistance, we deliver bespoke Sports First Aid training courses designed specifically for sports clubs, coaches, instructors, volunteers and support staff.

Our courses equip attendees with the knowledge and confidence to recognise and respond to common sports injuries and medical emergencies that can occur during training sessions, matches and competitions.

Topics Covered

Our Sports First Aid courses can include:

  • Managing unresponsive casualties
  • Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Bleeding and wound management
  • Recognising and managing head injuries
  • Managing fractures, sprains and soft tissue injuries
  • Recognising and responding to seizures
  • Any additional first aid topics relevant to your sport

Sport-Specific First Aid Training

We tailor every course to the needs of your sport. Whether you are involved in boxing, karate, football, rugby, cricket or another sporting activity, our training focuses on the injuries and incidents most likely to occur in your environment.

We believe it is important not only to teach first aid skills, but also to help attendees understand how injuries occur and why particular treatments and procedures are recommended.

Flexible Training Options

Training can be delivered at your club, gym or sports facility, or you can attend a course at our training centre in Greetland, Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Approved Sports First Aid Courses

Our Boxing Sports First Aid courses are fully accepted by England Boxing, while our Karate Sports First Aid courses are fully accepted by the English Karate National Governing Body (EKNGB).
